Scottish pot still manufacturer, Forsyths will be the exclusive sponsor of the Distiller of the Year and Scotch Whisky Producer at this year’s International Wine & Spirit Competition (IWSC) Awards.

The IWSC Awards 2021 marked the competition’s 51st celebration of excellence in wine and spirit making. Forsyth’s sponsored trophies were awarded to R L Seale & Company Limited and Chivas Brothers in their respective categories of ‘Outstanding Distiller’ and ‘Scotch Whisky Producer’.
Forsyth Ltd, based in the heart of Speyside in Scotland, is a family-run company now in its fourth generation. Famed worldwide for their exquisite handcrafted and hand-shaped pot stills, Forsyths also design and manufacture column stills for customers across a range of spirits. Products extend to mashing, fermentation and receiving equipment. Services also include engineering design, construction and commissioning of full turnkey distilleries with mechanical and electrical install done in house.

The IWSC Awards 2021 entrants were judged by industry heavyweights including Joel Harrison, an award-winning drinks writer and commentator, Charles Maxwell, a Director of The Gin Guild, and Richard Paterson, Master Scotch Whisky Blender at the Whyte & Mackay Group.
