Care Radio have announced a partnership with Discount for Carers, a discount scheme for all carers and care workers, to mark their first birthday during Carers Week 2022 (June 6-12).

The relationship was brokered by sponsorship agency Reg&Co.

Care Radio is a CIC with a mission to surprise, delight and support those who care. The station broadcasts online, through the Care Radio App and on DAB in a growing number of locations across the UK.

Discounts For Carers is a discount scheme for all carers and care workers, both paid and unpaid, to help them save money through a wide range of discounts. The company offers savings at big brands such as JD Sports, New Look, BT, Haven, Hoseasons, Travelodge, Apple and many more.

Carers Week is an annual campaign to raise awareness of caring, highlight the challenges unpaid carers face and recognise the contribution they make to families and communities throughout the UK.

The partnership will see Discount For Carers granted a campaign of on-air ads, listener promotions, on-air sponsorship and regular features and interviews all designed to support the broader mission of the station.

John Dash, CEO of Care Radio commented:

“As a station celebrating our first year of trading, it is exciting to have a business with the standing and reputation of Discount For Carers with us on our journey. As a station with a mission to surprise and delight those who care, Discount For Carers will be a great partner to help us fulfil our mission.”

Andy Fullard, Discount for Carers added:

“Discount For Carers is a benefit provider for carers and is also available to their families and any retired carers. Our partnership with Care Radio is therefore a natural fit as their listeners are exactly the audience we are looking to reach.”

Andy Westlake, Director at Reg&Co said:

“Reg&Co have been working on a number of brand partnerships for Care Radio over the last 12 months and this is the latest in a family of businesses we have brought in to support the station.”
