The Royal Institution have appointed partnership agency Reg&Co to help develop a sponsorship partnership search strategy for 2023.

The Royal Institution (Ri) is an independent charity dedicated to bringing the public and scientists together to share their interest and passion for science. The Ri’s vision that science is for everyone is based on a belief that there should be equitable access to science and scientists.

Partnership opportunities are available around the Ri’s science shows, workshops, events and activities as well as their famous Christmas Lectures – the world’s leading science lectures for young people.

Karen Morris, CEO of Reg&Co commented,

“The Royal Institution is an incredible charity, inspiring children and adults alike, on all things science.

Their hands-on explorative workshops, educational resources for schools and Theatre and livestream talks offer brands and partners a great opportunity to market to schools and young people as well as adults.

We look forward to working with The Royal Institution to unearth partnership opportunities and taking our prospect list to market.”

Rich Storton, Director at The Royal Institution added, “Our charitable activities are deliberately scalable and the more funds we can raise, the greater our social impact can be. Increased opportunities for schools in disadvantaged parts of the UK, greater reach among new and more diverse audiences, and more people engaging with science overall.

“We look forward to working with Karen and her team at Reg&Co on the many opportunities we have for partners to align with our respected brand of Ri-Science.”

The Royal Institution

The Royal Institution’s (Ri) vision is that science is for everyone. Science transforms lives and underpins the modern world – from health to the latest technology, the environment, and the furthest reaches of our universe. Science is part of culture, but not everyone has the same opportunity to engage. The Ri believes there should be equitable access to science, and that people’s desire to engage with science and scientists should be nourished.

The Ri brings the public and scientists together to share their interest and passion for science, empowering people to explore and get involved.

An independent registered charity, the Ri provides science education, public engagement, and heritage activities for people of all ages and backgrounds across the UK and around the world. These activities include the world-famous CHRISTMAS LECTURES; public talks from the world’s greatest thinkers in its historic lecture theatre and live streamed online; a successful YouTube channel with over 1.3 million subscribers, a national programme of Ri Masterclasses for young people in mathematics, engineering and computer science; hands-on science workshops in its L’Oréal Young Scientist Centre; award winning animations and films; and the preservation of its scientific legacy through the Faraday Museum and archival collections.

The Ri is a home for science and everyone is welcome.
