Reg&Co, the sponsorship and fundraising consultancy set up with a mission to unlock commercial value and to help rights holders achieve their objectives, have welcomed a new member to the team, Andy Westlake as a non-exec Director.

Andy has worked in the sponsorship industry for over 25 years, first on the media owner side for Capital Radio and EMAP developing and marketing commercial radio and cross-media sponsorship properties. Since 1998 he has been actively involved in the agency world, initially building a sponsorship capability within CIA Media Network (now MEC Access) and then moving to Fast Track, part of the global Sports and Entertainment Group CSM, building to a role as CEO. Fast Track worked with a range of blue-chip organisations helping them to return value to their businesses through partnerships in sport. In 2015 he established Westlake Consulting working with a range of brands, agencies and rights holders to deliver powerful partnerships in sport. Andy has a very long-standing and diverse understanding of the sponsorship industry and a passion for the power that sport and sponsorship can offer brands.

Karen Morris, Founder says, “I have known Andy for many years since I was in local radio. I was putting Take That into the Bishop of Landaff School for an end-of-term disco whilst at Red Dragon Radio (Cardiff) and Andy was at Media Sales & Marketing part of Capital Radio in London. We’ve stayed in touch and collaborated on projects whilst he was CEO at Fast Track and my agencies have always been ESA (European Sponsorship Association) members, an organisation that Andy now Chairs. I am delighted therefore to welcome Andy as a non-exec Director of Reg&Co and to work with him across all our existing and hopefully new clients in the years to come.

Andy says “I’ve always admired the work that Karen has done and have enjoyed the opportunities we’ve had to collaborate over the 25 years we’ve known each other. I’m looking forward to adding my experience to the Reg&Co team.
