The Radio Academy appoints Reg&Co. for sponsorship strategy

The Radio Academy have appointed sponsorship agency Reg&Co. to help develop a partnership and sponsorship strategy for their range of programmes, including the Audio and Radio Industry Awards (ARIAS), The Radio Academy Festival and Radio Academy Training Days.

The ARIAS are the Oscars of UK radio and audio and are open to all UK based content creators who are members of The Radio Academy. The Radio Academy Festival is an annual day of debate, discussion and celebration bringing together the biggest names in radio and audio, from both on-air and behind the scenes. The Radio Academy Training Days are university-based learning days targeted at student and community radio, held quarterly around the UK.

Sam Bailey, Managing Director of The Radio Academy commented:

“It is an exciting time to be involved in radio and audio, and at The Radio Academy we love to bring together a creative industry that is united by its passion for the medium. Since the pandemic we have seen the growth of all forms of audio consumption, from radio to podcasts, music to audiobooks. In turn, our charitable activity has grown, giving us the opportunity to showcase our potential to new sponsors and partners.

We are looking forward to working with Karen Morris and her team to help manage and develop our strategy and sponsorship positioning.”

Karen Morris, Director at Reg&Co added:

“The Radio Academy has an exciting portfolio of programmes and events which, with our industry expertise, we are perfectly placed to help develop a partnership strategy for in 2022 and beyond.”
