Sponsorship and brand partnership agency Reg&Co have announced their appointment to secure new sponsors for the Climate Creatives Challenge.

The Climate Creatives Challenge includes a biannual international design competition, supporting new and novel approaches for communicating the impacts of climate change and the benefits of mitigation, adaptation and resilience.

To encourage different types of creative communication to the Climate Creatives Challenge, a broad range of entry types are accepted including – illustrations, photos, video, poetry & prose, audio and sculpture.

Climate Creatives Challenges set to date have been on the issues of flooding, ecological change and adapting historic environments. The upcoming fourth Challenge opening in December 2023 is on Coastal Change, with entrants challenged to creatively communicate and put forward ideas as to how coastal environments can be adapted and/or made more resilient to the impacts of climate change.

Future challenge themes include; Heatwaves, Agriculture, Wildfires, Transport and many more.

The challenges are free to enter and open to people of all disciplines and creative backgrounds from designers and filmmakers to architects and social scientists, anyone with a creative concept that could help communicate the Challenge theme.

Stuart Richmond, Director at Reg&Co commented:

“Climate change is no longer a concern for the future, it is something we are all living in, and with, right now. The Climate Creatives Challenge is a novel way to encourage communication to protect our planet’s future and we are excited to take this concept to our prospect list.”

Ed Barsley founder and Director of Climate Creatives Challenge added:

“Our aim is to get people creating and engaging with the topic of climate change that would not normally do so. The first three challenges have been very successful in achieving this type of engagement and we’ve had a wide array of entry types submitted from 44 countries around the world.

We want to maintain this momentum and help generate sponsorship opportunities with Stuart and his team at Reg&Co for brands and partners to come on board.”
