Global Street Art appoints Reg&Co to source sponsors for London Mural Festival 2024

The UK’s leading mural-painting company Global Street Art have announced the appointment of Reg&Co and Rosendale Partnerships as the two partnership agencies who will secure partners for the second edition of the London Mural Festival.

The second London Mural Festival, taking place throughout September 2024, will showcase exceptional street art mural artists from around the world. The first edition of the festival, during 2020, saw 200 artists from 15 countries paint 75 sites across 13 London Boroughs.

Returning for its second edition this September, the London Mural Festival 2024 will paint more than 100 sites across the capital. More than 500 artists applied to participate in the 2024 edition of London Mural Festival within 24 hours of applications opening on February 8th.

Global Street Art is committed to using street art to revitalise urban areas and create a sense of community ownership of public spaces. By working with local authorities, businesses, and community groups, Global Street Art transforms neglected or derelict spaces into vibrant, dynamic areas.

Lee Bofkin, Co-Founder and CEO of Global Street Art, said:

“London Mural Festival is an incredible initiative, born out of our love for public art and our mission to live in painted cities. We can’t wait to bring the festival back to our beloved city and are excited to work with Reg&Co and Rosendale Partnerships.”

Justine Simmons OBE, Deputy Mayor for Culture, and the Creative Industries, said:

“London Mural Festival 2024, which will see hundreds of artists take part, will help us build a better city for all. Murals breathe life and energy into our walls, turning the city into a gallery and bringing art to everyone, every day for free.”

Karen Morris, CEO at Reg&Co commented:

“Global Street Art is much more than just a hand-painted advertising agency who have won several Cannes Lions and Drum Awards. No one has painted more walls for both the world’s most recognisable brands and for the wider community than Global Street Art. We are excited to be working with Dr. Lee Bofkin and the Global Street Art team to help secure partners for this unique event between now and September.”

Rebecca Kendall, Managing Director of Rosendale Partnerships, said:

“At Rosendale Partnerships we understand the power of inspiring creative partnerships between organisations and brands who are shaping culture today. Global Street Art is doing just that, and we can’t wait to bring on board partners who will help transform London and give all Londoners the opportunity to access world class art.”
